Methyl acetate industrial product purity ≥ 99%, colorless transparent liquid, with a characteristic fruity odor. Melting point -98.7℃, boiling point 57.8℃. Vapor pressure 21.7kPa (25℃), relative density 0.932 (20℃). Solubility in water: slightly soluble, miscible with ethanol, ether, acetone and most organic solvents. Stable under normal conditions, incompatible with strong oxidizing agents, strong acids and strong bases.
