Product Application of β-Estradiol CAS#50-28-2
Estradiol can be used as an estrogen drug for functional uterine bleeding, primary amenorrhea, menopausal syndrome, and prostate cancer. It can promote and regulate the normal development of female sexual organs and secondary sexual characteristics. It can promote the development and proliferation of breast ducts, but at a large dose, it can inhibit the release of prolactin from the anterior pituitary and reduce milk secretion. It can also be used to stop milk production. However, it may cause nausea, vomiting, and bleeding due to excessive endometrial proliferation. It should be used with caution in patients with liver and kidney dysfunction. It should not be used on the breast, vulva, and vaginal mucosa.
