Hexamethylene diisocyanate is a colorless or slightly yellow liquid with a pungent odor. It is slightly soluble in water and reacts slowly in water. The relative density at room temperature is about 1.05, the boiling point is about 2Chemicalbook55～261℃, and the melting point (freezing point) is -67～-55℃. The saturated vapor concentrations at 20℃ and 30℃ are 46mg/m3 and 137mg/m3 respectively.
