Products Description of Paclitaxel CAS#33069-62-4
Paclitaxel is a monomeric diterpene compound extracted from the bark of the natural plant Taxus genus. It is a complex secondary metabolite and the only drug known to date that can promote microtubule polymerization and stabilize polymerized microtubules. Isotope tracing shows that paclitaxel only binds to polymerized microtubules and does not react with unpolymerized tubulin dimers. When cells come into contact with paclitaxel, a large number of microtubules will accumulate in the cells. The accumulation of these microtubules interferes with various functions of the cells, especially stops cell division in the mitosis phase, blocking normal cell division. Through II-III clinical studies, paclitaxel is mainly suitable for ovarian cancer and breast cancer, and also has certain therapeutic effects on lung cancer, colorectal cancer, melanoma, head and neck cancer, lymphoma, and brain tumors.

Product Application of Paclitaxel CAS#33069-62-4
Anti-tumor drug. Used to treat metastatic breast cancer and metastatic ovarian cancer. Broad-spectrum anti-tumor herbal medicine, used to treat ovarian cancer, breast cancer and other diseases
An effective anti-tumor drug; binds to the N-terminal region of β-tubulin, promotes the formation of highly stable microtubule bodies, resists depolymerization, prevents normal cell division and captures in the G2/M phase of the cell cycle.
An anti-microtubule drug that inhibits depolymerization by promoting tubulin polymerization, keeps tubulin stable, and inhibits cell mitosis. Acts on human endothelial cells with an IC50 of 0.1 pM.
