Trehalose industrial product purity ≥ 99%, white crystalline powder, odorless, sweet taste. Melting point 203-205℃ (anhydrous), boiling point decomposes on heating. Vapor pressure negligible (25℃), relative density 1.51 (20℃). Solubility in water: highly soluble, slightly soluble in ethanol, insoluble in ether and benzene. Stable, incompatible with strong acids at high temperatures and certain enzymes.
