Products Description of Loratadine CAS#79794-75-5
Loratadine is a commonly used antiallergic drug. It belongs to the second generation of long-acting tricyclic antihistamines. It has a fast onset of action, strong effects, and does not contain hormones. After absorption by the human body, it is metabolized into more active desloratadine. It inhibits the allergic symptoms caused by histamine by competitively inhibiting histamine H1 receptors. It has no obvious anticholinergic and central inhibitory effects. It is clinically used to relieve symptoms related to allergic rhinitis, such as sneezing, runny nose and nasal itching, as well as itching and burning sensation in the eyes. It is also used to relieve the symptoms of chronic urticaria and other allergic skin diseases. Toxicology: Animal tests have no mutagenic or teratogenic effects.
