Didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride (DDAC) 80% is a colorless to pale yellow liquid, and 99% is an off-white paste. It is easily soluble in polar solvents but slightly soluble in water. It has excellent antistatic, anticorrosive, dispersing, emulsifying, and foaming properties. Compatible with cationic, nonionic, and amphoteric surfactants, it adsorbs on negatively charged surfaces, making fibers soft, fluffy, and hydrophobic.

Product Application of Didodecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride CAS#3401-74-9
Didecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride has excellent antistatic and anticorrosive properties, as well as good dispersing, emulsifying, and foaming abilities. It can be used as an additive in the production of napkins and toilet paper, and also serves as an asphalt emulsifier, mineral flotation agent, bactericide and disinfectant, emulsifier, and tertiary oil recovery additive.
