Di-pentylene glycol is the most ideal solvent for many fragrance and cosmetic applications. This raw material has excellent compatibility in dissolving water, oil and hydrocarbons, and it has a mild odor, very little skin irritation, low toxicity, uniform distribution of isomers, and excellent quality. 2) It can be used as a coupling agent and moisturizer in various different beauty and cosmetic applications. In the perfume field, the usage ratio of di-pentylene glycol exceeds 50%; while in other application fields, the usage ratio is generally within 10% (by weight). Some specific product application areas include: curling lotion, skin cleaning liquid (cold cream, shower gel, bath liquid and skin care lotion), deodorants for face, hands and body skin care products, moisturizing skin care products and lipsticks, etc.
