It is readily soluble in water, milk, 50% ethanol or propylene glycol aqueous solution, slightly soluble in anhydrous ethanol, propylene glycol and acetic acid, and insoluble in organic solvents such as ether, acetone, chloroform, benzene, glycerol and oils.
