Carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC, CAS 9000-11-7) industrial product purity ≥ 99%, non-flammable white to off-white odorless powder. Melting point 300℃, boiling point 527.1℃. Vapor pressure 2.59E-13kPa (25℃), relative density 1.45g/cm³ (20℃). Solubility in water: swells to form suspension, insoluble in most organic solvents. Stable, incompatible with strong oxidants.
