Vapor pressure negligible (25℃), relative density 2.15 (20℃). Solubility in water: highly soluble (74.5 g/100mL at 20℃), soluble in ethanol and acetone, insoluble in ether. Stable, incompatible with fluorides and strong oxidizing agents.
